According to Winbond's announcement (Nov 4, 2026), CUBE-Lite is a semi-custom memory solution built on the CUBE platform for embedded AI systems such as AI-ISP, wearables and MCU-based designs. Winbond says CUBE-Lite delivers up to 8 GB/s of bandwidth at about 70 mW, roughly 1 pJ/bit energy efficiency and about 20 ns access latency. Initial targets are low-power edge vision and AI systems running Micro Linux. The product is in validation, with mass production targeted for the first half of 2027.
