Atsign EdgeAI: secure connectivity for autonomous agents, IoT/OT devices and physical-AI systems
According to Atsign's announcement (Nov 3, 2026), EdgeAI is a packaged solution that runs on devices, gateways and edge systems, with a Control Center for centralised management of identity-based communication policies. Administrators can use an identity-based Kill Switch to cut off or limit communications from compromised or misbehaving devices, applications or AI agents without waiting for firewall changes. Atsign says its testing with hardware crypto acceleration reached up to 60x higher encryption throughput on Intel Core Ultra (6 Gbps) and up to 88x on Intel Xeon (5 Gbps) versus software-only encryption (about 100 Mbps and 57 Mbps). The solution targets edge AI, physical AI, IoT/OT, smart transportation, robotics and critical infrastructure.
