Google unveils Gemini 4 Carbon: tops the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index V5, but access starts with cyber defenders
According to Tom's Hardware, Gemini 4 Carbon scores 59 on the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index V5, one point ahead of Claude Opus 5.5, and ranks first on four of nine evaluations at a lower cost per task than other top models. Google is giving early access to cyber defenders through its Fairwind programme; no date for wider availability has been announced.
